That’s why we asked Festival Director Tim Ellis to give us a few tips on the absolute must sees for this year’s epic Festival!!!

FESTIVAL MUST SEES

You Married a Witch – Starring Calista Sinclair from Paris. (I saw her act at the FISM World Championships in Italy last year and immediately booked her for Melbourne. This is magic unlike anything you’ve seen before. Beautiful and artistic.)

Reflection of the Impossible – Starring Hernan Maccagno from Beunos Aires. (His close up coin magic is so good it has to be seen up close. So instead of a big theatre, I’ve put him in the intimate 20 seat Close Up Gallery so you can truly experience this master at work. But it will sell out FAST!)

I Am Not A Spy. This Is A Magic Show – Starring Magical Katrina from Hollywood. (This brand new show debuted to rave reviews at the Hollywood Fringe Festival last week, and now it’s coming to Melbourne, so don’t miss out on this twisted, but fun, show).

Illusions After Dark: Josh Staley – Witness one of the world’s finest sleight-of-hand artists perform modern miracles inches from your eyes.

The liminal legerdemain of Doctor Whoton – From the mind of Ben Hutton, The Liminal Legerdemain of Doctor WhoTon is a surreal evening magic show that is absurd, poetic and unhinged.

As Above. So Below – this new creation delves deeper into the occult, weaving tarot, ancient myth, and illusion into a seamless tapestry of mystery and philosophical intrigue.
