Interested in volunteering at the Melbourne Magic Festival?

The Melbourne Magic Festival Hub venue is at Arrow on Swanston.

We are looking for ushers in each of our four hub theatres (Houdini Theatre, Cardini Cabaret, Slydini Showroom, and The Close Up Gallery). You will be allocated to a different showroom each shift, which means once you collect the tickets and the audience is seated, you get to enjoy all of the shows in that venue. A perfect job for any magic fan!

As a volunteer you will help to make the Melbourne Magic Festival engaging and welcoming.

All volunteers will be working at our Hub in either a morning 10.00am to 4.00pm, or evening 6.00pm to 10.30pm.

There will be some Training and Orientation which you will be required to complete in order to be a volunteer at MMF. Details will be sent to you after you have applied.

As part of the Festival’s Child Safe Policy, all Hub Volunteers must be over 18 by the time of their first shift.
