How to buy tickets

THE ARROW HUB VENUES
There will be no door sales, so please book your tickets early to avoid disappointment. Have your mobile device charged and handy or print your tickets out at home before you head out.
Book with confidence, knowing that a full refund will be provided if we need to postpone or cancel the event for any reason.
SATELLITE VENUES
If the show is at The Butterfly Club, The Laneway Theatre, The Magic School of Confidence, The Marriott Hotel, etc – we recommend you buy tickets online, but definitely call the venue in advance if you hope to buy at the door because many shows sell out in advance.

Ticket Types
A = ADULT TICKETS – Any guests aged over 17 are entitled to buy an Adult Ticket.
C= CONCESSION TICKETS – Holders of valid concession cards are eligible for concession price tickets:
- Student Card (full-time)
- MEAA Membership Card
- Carer Card
- Health Care Card
- Pension Card
- Veterans Affairs Card
- All government-issued Seniors Cards
You may be asked to show your valid concession card when purchasing or collecting your tickets and/or on entering the venue. Concession prices are not applicable on all events or performances.
C = CHILD TICKETS – Guests aged between 2 and 17 years old are entitled to buy Concession Tickets.
Unless otherwise specified, children under the age of two do not need a ticket. Please note, this means children will need to sit on your lap (for in-person events) as they will not have a seat. Please be mindful of the show’s content when taking along a small child. Please note, babes-in-arms are not allowed entry to any events that are specified 18+.
F = FAMILY OF 4 – These are specially discounted sets of four tickets for 2 Adults and 2 Children or 1 Adult and 3 Children.
G = GROUP TICKETS – If you purchase 10 or more tickets for any show in one transaction, you are entitled to purchase Group tickets. (Large Groups of 20 or more CLICK HERE)
COMPANION CARDS –The Melbourne Magic Festival Hub honours the Companion Card scheme.

DISCOUNT CODE WORD
Some shows offer between 10% to 50% off if you use the right code word when booking.

FORM A GROUP
Many shows have discount prices available for group bookings. The minimum group size can vary, check individual show pages for details.
USE YOUR CONCESSION CARD
Concession prices apply to full-time students (26 years and under), full pensioners, Senior Card holders, the unemployed and children under 16 years. Proof of eligibility is required.
DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM FACEBOOK!
Due to the popularity of The Melbourne Magic Festival, some people are posting comments saying that they can no longer attend the Festival and have tickets to sell. These posts are from fake profiles – they usually have no friends and very few posts. They will ask you to send money to them before they send you tickets – which they do not have.
The only way to buy tickets for The Melbourne Magic Festival is to click on the any of the show pages.
REFUNDS
No refunds are available unless a performance is cancelled, re-scheduled or significantly re-located (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the re-scheduled or relocated event), or in accordance with the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice.
EXCHANGES
Exchanges are only permitted to another performance of the same event, subject to availability.
Any exchanges must be made at the original point of sale and will be subject to exchange fees.
Where an exchange is made to a less expensive ticket type or performance date, the price difference will not be refunded. Where an exchange is made to a ticket type or performance date of equal or greater value any additional cost plus the exchange fee must be paid at the time of the exchange.
Exchanges must be requested at least 24 hours in advance of the performance time.
COVID CANCELLATION POLICY
If, due to one or more of your group getting Covid and being unable to attend any MMF Hub show, you are able to cancel or reschedule your tickets at no charge up to 48 hours before showtime.
