The first day of The 2016 Melbourne Magic Festival ended with a sea of confetti as the much anticipated Stage Gala Show came to an end.
Sure, it was longer than expected, but who says you can have too much of a good thing?
The addition of the live band was such a success that it may become a permanent fixture for future Stage Gala Shows as they accompanied and enhanced the magic of Raymond Truong, Josh Staley, Lachlan Wilde, David Chandler, Lee Cohen, Nick Kay, Pierre Ulric, Tracy Tam, Cath Jamison, Simon Coronel, Tim Ellis, Dane Certificate, Dom Chambers, Anthony DeMasi and super special guest star John Archer. Producer and host Nicholas J Johnson kept the show rolling with his inimitable style and even ended up playing MagicSports at one stage!
