It’s almost time for The Melbourne Magic Festival, and here are some GOLD tips to help you make the absolute most of your visit to the Arrow Hub!
REMEMBER: Hub shows are ONLY July 7 to 12, while our July 13 to 19 shows are in Satellite Venues all over Melbourne!

MORNING ARRIVAL
By Tram: Stop #4, Queensberry St/Swanston St is right at the front door and is serviced by tram routes 1, 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 and 72.
By Car: Try using PARKOPEDIA to find the most appropriate spot for you.
Morning Coffee: Stop at the Arrow Cafe, in the hotel next to the Festival, and stock up on all your breakfast needs including eggs, hot chocolate, even pizza!
Magic Central: We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before showtime, because then you can check out The Magic Universe Magic Shop and see tricks that YOU can perform demonstrated live! There’s also lots of fun activities to keep everyone entertained before your usher leads you in for your first show of the day.
Ben & Jerry’s: From 11am to 2pm daily, the famous Ben & Jerry’s will have an ice cream cart on site for all of our sweet tooths! (You can even present your ticket at the Ben & Jerry’s Flinders Lane store later in the day and get 10% off everything!!)

Bonus Show: Why not add a second show to make a day of it? You can catch a morning show, grab some lunch at the many fantastic eateries, then return for another show or maybe MAGIC SCHOOL WITH TIM CREDIBLE or FUN & GAMES, where for just $5, everyone wins at least one prize!

EVENING SHOWS
By Car: Try using PARKOPEDIA to find the most appropriate spot for you. Pro-tip: if you arrive around 5 or 6pm you’ll find a lot of great street parks within walking distance.
Dinner time: There are literally hundreds of amazing dinner options in walking (or free tram) distance from the Festival.
New Shanghai Melbourne Central: If you’re a dumpling fan, then give New Shanghai a try, and if you show your MMF ticket you’ll get 10% off all food and drinks!
Magic Central Bar: Of course, in the evenings we have our Magic Central Bar fully stocked with drinks and snacks for all tastes AND you can take them in to the shows with you! Check out the menu.
Plan your attack: Every evening we have between 12 and 13 different shows in our Arrow Hub, so if you plan carefully, you should be able to see three in the one night!
After show Karaoke: After a long night of having your mind blown, what better way to wind down than sing it out. Our friends at Partyworld Karaoke Bar (trading hours 1:30pm – 3am) say that if you show your Magic Festival ticket, they’ll give you one hour of singing for just $25.
