Dom Chambers
This is not your average magic show. Ditching the top hat and bunny for Tinder and beer, RanDom takes magic to a ridiculous new territory. Anyone and anything may become part of the journey as Dom explores life and love through magic in this comedy adventure filled with genuinely baffling illusions.
With an appearance on ‘Penn & Teller: Fool Us’ and 20 million internet views, Dom Chambers has fast become a force to be reckoned with on the international magic scene.
Previous engagements read like an impressive dinner party list – clients include Tim Burton, Al Gore; Tony Blair; David Beckham, Gene Simmons and many Australian Prime Ministers. Anthony also has even broken a Guinness World Record in 2004 and most recent 2016 for the world’s longest running magic show – a mind boggling 85 hours of non-stop magic!
A tennis fan, one of his performing highlights was performing his magic at the Australia open tennis player’s ball. A night he will never forget.
Nick Nickolas (feat. Ruby)
Last year was the first time Nick Nickolas performed at the Melbourne Magic Festival. This year he returns staging a brand new show “Boondoggle” with his daughter Ruby.
At eleven years old Ruby has been studying magic and performing circus skills for over half her life. She has appeared on a variety of festival stages across Australia and overseas. Ruby is so very excited to be a part of the Melbourne Magic Festival this year, as is her Dad.
Boondoggle is the first father daughter show to be featured at the festival. This curious pair promise a show that will delight, baffle, bewilder and surprise humans of all ages.
