Well its looks very interesting, I can’t wait to go see one of these shows, like the comedy festival–but magic!
Thanks for such a fantastic night. Great value for more than 2 hours of highly skilled entertainment. The finale with Tim Ellis was such magic fun. We all left feeling cheered.
The Close Up Gala was absolutely brilliant. The best 15 bucks I’ve ever spent. I can’t believe I saw Shoot Ogawa live! I’ve watched him so many times on Youtube, last night I saw him from the front row! Tim Ellis’s Cup and Ball routines is the best I’ve ever seen. All around AWESOME!!!! Bring on 2011!
A great night, showcasing a great range of performers! Amazing! Will have to see some of the performers in their individual shows, based on their clever skills and masterful showmanship.
The AIM Close up Gala was incredibly entertaining. It was so great to see so many talented Magicians in one place and has inspired me to go and see a few shows I hadn’t yet considered. Some highlights of the night was the amazing Shoot Ogawa, who’s ring trick kept amazing you at every turn. The very telented Anthony De Masi and his ever entertaining “lighter” joke, the chance to get up on stage and make a coin i had in my very own hand diasppear into a glass of water and of course Tim Ellis’s finale of old skool 1950′s rock, where on earth was he hiding that Milkshake?
One of the most entertaining shows i have ever been too and work to all the wide range of magicians who performed! Surely it was a fantastic $15 spent for everybody in the audience and i would NEVER find this boring… its the BEST and very very entertaining! but u cannot forget the MC, (Tim Ellis) who held the whole show together and gave it much much more entertainment!! Big Well Done to tim. Fantastic job especially with the “card at any number” and even though the audience were blown away by all the performances.. U literally gave them that last hit that blew them out of the planet with your run-around sue!! Excellent job Tim! Also the camera women, (1st half Sue-Anne Webster, 2nd half Lee Cohen) which i would like to congratulate because the whole show would of fallen down if you werent there helping to improve the entertainment…… from my position i couldnt see the close up table but thanks to the legendary camera women i had no problem watching everyones routine. If i was to choose my favourite performance it would probably be…. THE WHOLE DAMN SHOW!!! Thankyou for the great night and you certainly didnt dissapoint anybody! Well done to everyone espiecially the performers!
Excellent show tonight with not one bit of boringness. very very entertaining and its just $15 which is a very very good price and im sure no one would regret it and no one wouldve wasted any money on this show. Also well done to the MC for the night (Tim Ellis) who really held the whole show together and added a whole lot more of entertainment to the show!! But you cannot miss the camera women (1st half Sue-Anne Webster, 2nd half Lee Cohen) because if they didnt help then the whole show wouldve fallen down so big well done to them as well……. from the position where i was sitting i couldnt see the close up table but because of the legendary camera women i didnt have one single problem with seeing everybodys performances. If i was to choose a favourite performance it would definetely be….. THE WHOLE DAMN SHOW. this show really made my evening a fantastic, unforgettable one and well done to all the performers as well, who did amazing tricks with dies, cards, coins, rings etc.
to all that are reading this…. U MUST BUY TICKETS NEXT YEAR IF YOU WANT TO HAVE THE BEST NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE!
