This year The Melbourne Magic Festival is excited to offer classes in the art of magic for both kids and adults!

SO you think you can do MAGIC?

Calling all wizards, magicians and practical jokers!  

Come to Northcote Town Hall where you will be welcomed by magic entertainer and instructor Anthony  (Magic Tony) De Masi.

If you love entertaining or just love fun practical jokes and magic, you will love the magic workshop!

Come learn some great magic secrets to tricks that will have your family & Friends fooled, baffled and more importantly entertained.

 

  •  Learn how to make a wand float on your hand.
  • Turn water into ice in an instant
  • Read the mind of your volunteer using crayons.

 And many more wonderful magic tricks that you can make and use with objects/items at home. 

 Magic Tony's Workshop  Learning Magic Secrets

Most importantly learn some of the skills and techniques to becoming a magical performer.

The workshop will also cover:

  • performance,
  • voice,
  • confidence
  • and acting skills.

 

 

Magic Secrets Revealed with Tim Credible 

Has your child ever wanted to learn magic? 

Tim CredibleThis interactive workshop brings kids into the world of magic, and teaches them how to perform some dazzling magic tricks.

Kids love the wonders of a magic show and in the workshop some easy but effective magic tricks will be taught to the children.

Plenty of helpful tips and coaching are given to the children as they practice and learn magic.

The children also receive an insight into the art of performing magic and being an entertainer.

Learning magic and performance skills helps to increase children’s confidence and improves speaking skills, but most importantly is great fun for children and their families.

Discover the magician in your child and enjoy the magic they will add to your family and social occasions.

 Sleight of Hand Classes for Adults with Simon Coronel

Simon Coronel 2 

In this intense but enjoyable two-hour session, you will learn a small set of simple but effective magical routines.

Suitable for those with no background at all in magic or sleight of hand, this course represents an excellent way to gain the ability to amaze your friends and colleagues.

As well as being an award-winning Close-Up Illusionist, your tutor Simon Coronel regularly teaches the Centre for Adult Education (CAE)’s course in Close-Up Magic for Beginners. So don’t worry, he knows how to help you learn this stuff.

    Hi Sofia. From July 2-14 The Melbourne Magic Festival will be running classes and workshops for all ages.

    Until then I recommend he get out and see as much magic as he possibly can, and there’s a lot to see!
