It was a pleasure to watch 'I want to be a magician', presented by Joel Howlett and Anthony De Masi. The show was full of laughs and audience participation, while the magic presented was fun, exciting and visually engaging. Joel and Anthony worked well as a team, each presenting different magical feats with their own style, flair and personality. Throughout the show, the enthusiasm and love for magic that Joel and Anthony each have was clearly displayed and this added to my enjoyment of the show. Highlights of the show included a colour changing house and dove productions and vanishes. I look forward to future shows by Joel and Anthony.

well looks like i want to be a magician is an EXTREMELY good show and joel and anthony really put together a big, fun, amazing, interactive show to amaze and entertain the whole family. also the audience got to do alot of magic too which was good and im sure everybody had a lot of fun and no one wouldve thought it was a waste of money because the two talented magicians put together a fantastic show with alot of tricks in the amount of time you had. i am definetely going to see anthony in another (or possibly the same) show next year and whoever is reading this...... i think u should too. if i had to choose a favourite trick i would choose, umm...... all of it.
thankyou for the awesome morning and i will surely see some more of your shows next year. well done joel howlett and anthony demasi. fabulous show

Like Jackie, we had a fantastic experience today at 'I want to be a Magician'

i took my 12 and 2 year old with me and was concerned at how much they would both enjoy it.
Molly-Jane (2) sat still for longer than she has done for in a very long time, only moving for a toilet break and to get a better view around the people in front of her! She was totally fascinated with it all - i am not sure what she made of it, but she certainly enjoyed herself and loved joining in with the clapping
Max (12) couldn't stop smiling and laughing and still has a grin. He still has fits of giggles when talking about the rabbit at the end with the teeth (im trying not to give it away!)
I sat there amused and entertained and i think that at times i clapped/gasped or laughed louder than some of the kids around us!

Joel and Anthony were sensational, involving children of all ages and to top off Molly Janes experience, all the kids were invited to come up and touch the rabbit and guinea pig at the end of the show.

We also cannot decide on a favourite trick, there were so many and some of them were really unexpected.

Only negative of the day, was not enough tiered seating and some of the smaller children found it difficult to see past adults in front of them.

A fantastic, fun, interactive experience for all ages and would recommend to all....
I am off to facebook it now!!!

Today, we went along to see 'I Want to be a Magician.' After the show, Meg - who is 6, Oscar who is 11 and I (older than I like to think) could not agree on the best magic trick of the show, as there were so many tricks. Meg said, "I liked it went the book was opened and fire came out. I also liked the bubble trick". Oscar says, "the rope trick where Joel kept cutting the rope and putting it back together was unbelievable. The name of the show matched the show".
I was impressed with the quality and quantity of tricks. There were so many amazing tricks in the show. Both magicians are funny, entertaining, highly skilled and seem to love working with children. There was lots of audience participation - with kids having the chance to go out on stage. We have no idea how any of the tricks were done. Meg had the chance to have milk poured over her head, she held an umbrella to be safe, but not one drop landed on her head. The music in the show creates a fun and upbeat atmosphere. All in all, we loved it!!!

I'm afraid the Northcote ticketing system is having trouble coping with the demand at the moment. Easiest thing to do is to give the box office a call on 03 9481 9500

I have tried to purchase a family ticket for Friday 9 July with collection at the box office but when the payment screen appears it also lists the expired tickets at full price. If I proceed to enter my credit casrd details it will charge me a lot more than the cost of the fa,ily ticket.

How can I pay for these tickets?
Can you please advise as i do not want to miss the show.

Thanks.
